Hi, Is it possible for a male with Erectile dysfunction (ED) and every morning wake up with a big erection ??
Maybe he don’t have Erectile dysfunction (ED) ??
Chosen Answer:
Erectile dysfunction is a lot more then just physical ability. For many of the men who suffer from ED, the block is mental. Does this mean he isn’t attracted to his partner? No, but it does mean that there are possible insecurity or other issues that might be in the way (this accounts for approximently 10-20% of all cases.)
Other issues can be linked to prescription drugs. Did you know that 200 drugs are liked to ED? Antihistamines, Diuretics, naproxen, Zantac, muscle relaxers… (you can find a whole list below with my sources.) Those are only a few.. and only a few that we know of. Smoking is also said to increase the risk of ED. Another cause can be low testosterone.
One of the important things I think is important to look at here is the biological standpoint of a morning erection. Its not something that involves any sort of real mental interaction. They are caused by neuroreflexes that are stimulated during REM sleep… not the issues with blood flow that can still occur during the day that are solely linked on hormones.
